Program Summary
The Leidos Intelligence Group has a career opportunity for an experienced scientists, technicians, engineers, and analysts. The FIRST of the Next Generation Analysis Contracts has been awarded. This multi-year contract needs you to fill highly skilled mathematicians, scientists, engineers, planners, collection managers and analysts.

As a Forensic Analyst, you will enjoy cutting-edge work solving complex problems, investigating computer security incidents to derive information to enable mitigation of network vulnerabilities. Primary Responsibilities

  • You will exploit captured media and/or investigate computer security incidents in order to derive useful intelligence and/or enable mitigation of network vulnerabilities.
  • Perform network traffic analysis of web services to analyze raw packet data for anomalies, support cyber security initiatives through both predictive and reactive analysis, articulating emerging trends to leadership and staff.
  • Communicate daily with program managers, management, customer representatives, and end users to ensure delivery of quality products.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security).
  • Degree and minimum years of relevant work experience as follows:
  • BS and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

You would really impress us by having completed military training in a relevant area such as Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC), which will be considered towards the relevant experience requirement.

Additionally, having one or more of the following certifications are highly desired:

  • GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE)
  • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
  • GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM)
  • GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA)
  • GIAC Advanced Smartphone Forensics (GASF)
  • GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI)

Pay Range:Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00
