Infrared Intelligence Analyst - Active Secret Clearance Required!

Job Description:

Leidos is hiring an Infrared (IR) Intelligence Analyst with an active Secret clearance knowledgeable in IR aircraft signature production to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

Initial work will be done at the contractor site and could eventually lead to work at the government site on base; an active SECRET clearance is required to be considered for the role.

The successful candidate will conduct scientific and technical analysis and signature production using IR tools such as Spectral and In-Band Radiometric Imaging of Targets and Scenes (SPIRITS). They will also conduct research using Optical Signatures Code (OSC).

Our new colleague will join a team of military, government, and other contractors to achieve high confidence answers to problems of interest. The candidate will work independently and have effective writing and verbal communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities

- IR aircraft signature production and as a result develop high confidence reports and answers to problems of interest.

Basic Qualifications

- Active SECRET security clearance (with TS/SCI eligibility)

- BA/BS and 4+ years related experience or MA/MS and 2+ years of related experience. Additional experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

- Strong analytical, communication, and attention to detail skills, and ability to work both individually and with teams

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in IR aircraft signature production, satellite/space vehicle systems, components, industry, satellite design/system engineering, and space operations

- Experience with research and production IAW Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 206 “Sourcing Requirements for Disseminated Analytic Products”, using production tools such as SPIRITS, and using research tools such as OSC

- Previous NASIC experience
