Position: Commercial BT Lead, Thailand & ANZ (above 10 years)

Brief Description of Position

The Organon Commercial BT Lead for Thailand & ANZ will serve as a thought leader in the business transformation, across all functions, and act as the single point of accountability to ensure that technology solutions and services enable this journey. This individual should have an entrepreneurial mindset and needs a healthy mix of digital thought leadership, ability to define and drive change through technology initiatives in an agile manner, excellent analytics capabilities, the ability to build partnerships both internal and external to Organon and have a truly dynamic and innovative mindset.

As a member of, and working in full partnership with, the extended Thailand & ANZ Leadership Team, they will ensure prioritization, clarity and alignment with goals and business outcomes and create, and deliver new projects on-time, within budget and with the associated quality standards. Ensuring business continuity through the support of and enhancements to existing information solutions is also a critical success factor.

This position will be supporting all functions operating in Thailand & ANZ . The incumbent will be responsible for the entire country-aligned BT team and will also collaborate with other function leaders to ensure development of a global multi-year technology portfolio as well as influence senior business leaders in the development of the business strategy.

Primary activities/responsibilities

  • Ensure the technology portfolio and roadmaps are integrated with the company transformation agenda and global BT strategy and ensure prioritization and reconciliation to meet business objectives.
  • Partner with global BT colleagues to deliver on the technology portfolio across all sites within the cluster. Optimize available resources with maximum business and technology efficiency.
  • Work with our BT partners from the functions, as well as Enterprise, and follow global contracts to provide technology operations and support services to required service levels.
  • Be a leader in the BT community to build a strong and highly engaged BT team in the region that has the flexible skills for capability enablement and business value realization, and technical services as appropriate with the skills necessary to provide the various technology services required. Proactively seek ways to improve BT community’s cohesiveness and effectiveness in achieving company objectives.
  • Manage and enhance operational systems to ensure defined and evolving service levels are met.
  • Proactively identify business needs and associated technology solutions and needs as well as manage a governance structure to facilitate the prioritization and project selection process, and drive alignment on selection of optimal technology investments.
  • Partner with regional and functional leaders to understand the market and industry business drivers in order to shape and influence the business, and articulate and sell a cohesive BT strategy.
  • Develop and implement project plans that include interdependencies and risk management solutions.
  • Manage resources to deliver on business, functional and corporate objectives. Identify ways to optimize available resources and deliver portfolio with maximum business and technology efficiency.
  • Provide guidance to others on implementing corporate practices

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Science or Business is required
  • 6-9 year experience in IT management, working with business leadership teams and driving IT strategy, specific IT skills to delivery of IT programs and support processes across all Organon divisions in the countries.
  • Working knowledge of Organon’s core business structure and how own function contributes to and works within the organization
  • Experience in Analytics supporting a commercial organization in a business line.
  • Knowledge/experience of development and deployment of innovative solutions in any business domain from conceptualization through delivery.
  • Business & financial acumen & Strategic thinking
  • Ability to thinking cross-divisionally and working across boundaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior business executives and with internal and external Healthcare and IT solutions providers.
  • Project management skills, Experience with Agile ways of working
