Eaton’s Distributed IT division is currently seeking a Lead FP&A Analyst. This position will be based out of our Woodridge, IL. facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91,500 - $134,200 a year.

What you’ll do:

We are seeking a FP&A Lead Analyst to join our team to support the D-IT Division within Electrical Sector Americas. The FP&A Lead Analyst will be responsible for consolidated financial statement forecasting, reporting, and analysis, enabling strategic decision-making for the organization. This individual will be a key interface with the D-IT senior leadership team, supporting executives with reporting and analysis and interfacing with our product lines and functions. This manager will join a dynamic and engaged team of Finance professionals.

In this role you will:

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to the Finance Director and leadership team.
  • Lead preparation of consolidated forecasts and budgets, analyzing trends in sales, profit, SG&A and R&D expense, capital and inventory. Responsible for monthly, quarterly, annual financial forecasting and reporting for consolidated Division financial statements.
  • Manage monthly budget vs actuals reporting and present insightful variance analytics, risks and opportunities for the leadership team. Prepare and deliver executive presentations.
  • Provide consolidated KPI reporting and analysis in areas such as headcount, economics, savings, capital spending, amongst others.
  • Lead financial modeling, forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision making.


Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of financial statements
  • Five (5) years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
