Database Product Operations is responsible for commercializing Mission Critical Database (MCDB) technologies products and services that includes providing business operations and analysis to influence decision making for product and GTM teams to move the business forward. Includes Oracle Database, Autonomous Database, and Exadata Platform (On-premises, Cloud at Customer, OCI Public Cloud). Scope includes quarterly business reviews, cloud billing / metering, pricing, deal support, capacity planning, feature analysis, and operations budget.As a member of this team, you will be influencing the growth and success of Oracle Database products and services by supporting the executive leadership team. Example of projects range from the very strategic to the very operational: Go-to-market planning, revenue forecasting, capacity planning, data center region planning, Service Discount rate, purchase patterns, sales pipeline analysis, market analyst briefings, competitive market analysis. Deliverables include robust analytic models, monthly / quarterly business reviews, ad-hoc analysis, sales dashboards, and the packaging of data into query-able data sets.Our team members have solid skill-set in analyzing data and communicating recommendations, looking at different angles of a product or business opportunity, and know how to connect the dots and interact with people in various roles and functions. Seeking self-starters, someone that enjoys tallying up the numbers one minute and communicating findings to a team leader the next. Candidate will be the BI subject matter export topics related to platform usage, bookings, and revenue.Example of projects and programs:+ Partner with Database Product Managers across Cloud, License, and Hardware to provide necessary insight platform data and commercial data. Partner with Cloud and Systems supply chain team to provide necessary finance forecast. Includes building of tooling and KPI dashboards for leadership to track activity performance, reference, platform utilization.+ Subject matter expert on Database cloud platform utilization database options, features, utilization - drive insight on Database adoption and paint points; ability to review customer SRs (and outages) identify areas for improvements and enhancements; lead customer advisory sessions focused on database cloud with Service owners.+ Maintain and track Cloud at Customer fleet assets; programmatically coordinate with systems delivery and finance team on accuracy and changes related to upgrade / renewals / returns.+ Engage in escalations related to metering, billing, and on-boarding challenges related to MCDB Cloud customers.
