"**Business Development Representative IV****Preferred Qualifications**The Oracle Data Cloud (ODC) is looking for a **Director of Business Development** to secure and expand premier data partnerships to be leveraged within the digital advertising ecosystem.This person will conduct partner discovery, iterate based on cross-functional teams feedback and business evolution, and execute to deliver best in class data assets to power ODCs full set of offerings. You will need to clearly communicate strategic value and cross-workstream benefits to our executive team and stakeholders. Ultimately, you enjoy building long standing strategic partnerships that help build the best in class products at ODC.**This role will:**- Collaborate with ODC cross-functional leadership teams such as product strategy, sales, legal, partner management, and others to align on opportunities and gaps in our assets- Lead the sourcing and negotiation of new and existing deals managing them end to end from deal construct, terms, use cases, and most importantly, how to provide the maximum amount of value to both parties- Pitch and negotiate with c-level executives- Navigate the internal contracting process owning deals from the idea stage through to contract signatureThis critical role will allow us to improve our existing products such as measurement and audiences and build new offerings as a leading player in the ad tech ecosystem. If you are a dynamic business development leader with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of the ad-tech ecosystem, then this could be for you.**About you:**- 7 years of business development and strategy, ideally in the ad tech ecosystem- Extensive knowledge of the online ad tech ecosystem, DMPs, DSPs, data partners- Strong understanding of ODCs offerings such as measurement, context, and audiences- Comfortable with executive team presentations and senior, c-level partnership negotiations- Ability to manage within a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, with many stakeholders and shifting priorities- Clear and organized communication of complex and messy workstreams- Must be able to lead multiple time-sensitive initiatives in parallel- Positive, professional, and fun to work with- Must be willing to travel up to 25% of time to attend events, meet with partners, and collaborate with global teams**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle.A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the product* s sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales or sales management. Marketing and business development experience preferred. Business and account planning implementation experience. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Proven track record in managing multiple opportunities and ability to negotiate and close complex deals. Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel.
