When you join, you will be working on a wide variety of special projects related to corporate finance, data analysis, risk management, tax planning, and more. The team is compact (just a handful of people), therefore very multi-faceted. Projects usually take the form of internal consulting within the broader group, requiring fast and deep learning of the target subject in order to be of use to professionals with decades of experience in their respective areas of expertise. Solutions often make use of outside-the-box approaches, leveraging insights from seemingly unrelated ideas. You will add value to the subject-matter experts by cross-applying what you may already know and what you actively learn in the course of working with the team. The team approaches unknowns through academic theory, empirical data, and plenty of group discussion.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**+ Research new topics and quickly develop thorough intuition of the underlying fundamentals+ Quantitatively model the project area and potential solutions, then evaluate the results+ Visualize data in order to distill its significance and relay conclusions directly to team leaders+ Communicate complex ideas and collaborate with stakeholders, sharing key insights+ Identify improvement opportunities and execute them to completion+ Analyze market, industry, and global trends and paradigm shifts**PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**+ Ability and interest in learning quickly across a wide variety of tax- and / or treasury-related subjects (e.g. economics, statistics, finance, law, accounting)+ Team-oriented mindset combined with interdisciplinary and independent thinking+ Robust analytical skillset that can be applied to solve many different kinds of problems+ Bachelors degree required (in any field, though STEM/finance /economics preferred)+ [Advanced graduate degree (e.g. MBA) and / or certification (e.g. CFA) preferred]**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Compiles information for statutory reports as well as internal tax reporting. Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.Be an integral partner in Oracle's business decisions to enhance shareholder value by providing tax-related advice globally to all business units. Assist with governmental audits, internal audits and/or fiscal recharges. Ensure company complies with worldwide statutory tax reporting specifications. Focus areas include transfer pricing and intercompany transactions. identify international assignment tax issues for employees working in another country. Develop strategies to minimize corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations. May be involved with tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Maintain current knowledge of all tax laws affecting Oracle. Detail oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. 5 plus years experience in public accounting firm and/or high technology industry. CPA and or MS/MBA tax preferred.Colorado Pay Range: From $80,798 to $141,400 per annumEligible for bonus and equityOracle offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes the following:1.
