Work you'll do

Apply subject matter expertise to innovate and deploy effective solutions to our clients.

Manage day to day interactions with clients, other vendor teams and executive sponsors

Deliver components of client engagements that identify, design and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies

Create and execute work plans, identifying dependencies, eliminating blockers and escalating critical issues, risks, or action items

Responsibilities include, among others, leading teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, performing knowledge transfer and defining support procedures

Develop and maintain contact with client decision makers at current and prospective clients; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal response strategies

Bring expertise as a subject matter expert, to one or more Medicaid functional areas such as Provider, Member, Managed Care, Claims, etc.

Use SDLC tools and PMBOK project management principles

The team

Our Health Technology team implements repeatable solutions to solve our government clients' most critical health technology related issues. We advise on, design, implement and deploy solutions focused on government health agencies "heart of the business" issues including claims management, electronic health records, health information exchanges, health analytics and health case management.

Our clients seek a fresh perspective on how to leverage reusable, interoperable and flexible solutions that will enable them to reduce costs, improve health outcomes and respond to public health crises. State Government- Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES)

Deloitte is at the forefront of the Medicaid enterprise systems (MES) marketplace -combining systems integration, implementation, analytics, and project management experience with substantial knowledge of Medicaid programs and health care. We work closely with states to implement technology modernization programs, to support transitioning from legacy Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) to modular Medicaid solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

3+ years of experience in the business or technical operations of a State Medicaid program across various MITA business processes (including member, provider, claims and care management)

Bachelor's degree

Desired :

Experience leading distributed teams to deliver functional or technical work streams in a State Medicaid DDI

Experience working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define requirements, resolve issues, and capture decisions

Understanding of end-to-end Medicaid health plan business processes, CMS modularity directives, health-industry standard interfaces and the methodologies needed to manage the interactions with both internal and external stakeholders

Demonstrated experience successfully leading Joint-Application Design or Product Configuration sessions in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Experience planning, tracking, and delivering projects using Microsoft Project, managing tasks within Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, and documenting processes in Microsoft Visio

Ability to work independently, manage multiple task assignments, make presentations, and mentor junior staff when needed.
