What you’ll be doing...

The Enterprise Architecture group is seeking a Senior Manager for a critical, client-facing role that interacts with multiple application teams in GTS and AI&D creating and launching new solutions powered by SOI insights, AI/ML, and Pega, Adobe to support Personalized Customer Journeys & Offers, Experiences & Services.

Senior Manager to lead a team of architects designing end-to end Personalized Customer Experiences that leverage SOI intelligence in the transformation of the Key Journeys leveraging the North Star Architecture. In this role the candidate is responsible to lead a team of architects that will address the following functions:

  • Providing the Next Best Actions and offers in an Omni Channel environment.
  • Migrating customer experiences from legacy architecture to the VCG North Star Architecture.
  • Designing and support the VCG API first strategy promoting the adoption of industry standard APIs.
  • Leading the Marketing Architecture Strategy & Framework; Designing Audiencing platform to leverage AI Insights at scale to personalize offers and promotions; Evaluating Vendor products for MarTech Technology; Collaborating with Marketing, Operations, & Business teams to gain consensus in adoption of MarTech technologies.
  • Digital Modernization – Having market awareness, performing research and evaluating tools/platforms to help mature Verizon’s Real-Time Marketing capabilities.
  • Design & Architect User/Line-level personalization capabilities.
  • Focusing on Personalized Customer Experiences, System of Insights, MarTech, Real Time Marketing and AI/ML to increasing the digital & assisted channels performance via technology and process improvements in line with North Star Architecture.
  • Research technology trends and products and recommending solutions to run application workloads with futuristic Architecture.
  • Implementing and driving solutions towards the North Star architecture.
  • Building synergies in close partnership between AI&D and GTS teams to integrate insights, AI/ML models, and data analytics with end to end experience on NSA stack to provide personalization & intelligence in sales and services programs.
  • Instilling new processes that drive the vendor evaluation support & builds blueprint for vendor onboarding NSA/SOI for various third parties.
  • Being a business leader and C level presentations.

This role will be based out of one of the locations listed in the posting.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in managing teams.
  • Experience in Solutioning end to end Personalized Customer Experience powered by SOI & AI/ML.
  • Experience in architecting systems around big vendors like Adobe, PEGA, & third party modelling.
  • Experience in architecting and technology evaluation for system of insights & AI/ML.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience in architecting North Star Architecture for End-to-end systems.
  • Experience in articulating the business drives and architectural approach/trade-offs during discussions for solution buy-in at various levels and gain consensus.
  • Knowledge of various frameworks for the channels of engagement.
  • Management experience with leading software developers/architects, systems or process analysts.
  • Experience with AI and Machine Learning.
  • Experience in evaluating emerging technologies.
  • Ability to broker solutions for issues between functional domains, senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of IT Finance & Budget Allocations.
  • Knowledge Understanding of SAFe Agile framework.
  • Strong communication (verbal and writing), influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to break down complex topics into simple to digest information and data points, adjusted to audiences at various levels.
  • Ability to create system and process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, sequence and UML diagrams, inter and intra system dependencies within the functional domain and across them.
  • Ability to broker solutions for issues between functional domains, senior leaders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with C-level gravitas.
  • Experience with using data insights to drive personalization with following technologies - Pega, Adobe, MarTech, Content Management systems, CDP
  • Experience with AI/ML framework.
