No candidates requiring visa sponsorship will be considered.**Position Summary:*Oracles Global Business Units is seeking a dynamic*Cloud**Solution Architect*and thought leader for a mission critical division of the organization. The GBUs acquire, develop and operate Oracles Industry Specific solutions, reaching across 8 different industry units and well over 50 distinct products. The role involves contributing to and leading multidisciplinary projects focused on architecting, re-developing, migrating, improving, designing, and prototyping complex cross-product solutions involving Oracles Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) with a primary focus of this role being middleware technologies. The role will have a focus on moving our entire product portfolio to the cloud, often including complex movement scenarios and providing guidance as well as roll up your sleeves engagement for the remaking of the cross GBU product portfolio to a set of fully cloud native and cloud products. The position entails a high level of internal visibility with senior management. The Solution Architect is responsible for structuring and leading complex, strategic internal and external engagements involving coordination across teams and products, innovative use of Oracles Cloud Development products and tools, and establishing a regular feedback channel into the Development organization resulting in product improvements and innovations.*Typical Duties and Responsibilities include:** Design complex and innovative solutions leveraging Oracle Cloud offerings to address critical business requirements of our customers.* Assess the current product portfolio and build repeatable patterns for mapping current state for our products to cloud solutions and provide guidance to involved internal and external parties to ensure successful implementations and uptake of best practices.* Manage competing, quickly changing priorities effectively and handle input from many internal and external collaborators and stakeholders.* Structure and execute plans for a given project in challenging environments with a minimum of guidance.* Closely collaborate with high caliber peers and a variety of teams and groups in a highly dynamic environment.* Identify common pain points in Oracle products and solutions and propose practical alternatives to improve them.* Establish relationships and feedback channels into product management and product engineering ultimately resulting in product improvements and innovations.We are seeking an exceptional technical leader with extraordinary attention to detail.
