"Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. You will evangelize Oracles Communication Strategy to the market, while being able to engage in deep technical facets of how the solutions work and provide value to our customers and partners.Focuses on large, complex, global sales opportunities that need creative and intricate solutions to advanced customer problems. Ability to look at both customer and industry big picture and be able to utilize that information to drive a stronger internal strategy and build a long-term foundation with our customer base.Develop tools and training for the Oracle Communication Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations to internal and external audiences. Advise internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Driving strategic initiatives within the organization, as well as evangelizing these initiatives to the field and to our customers.In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.Interface with key customers in order to influence and steer the technology strategy and technical choices. Interface with internal teams to effect long term product and directional strategy.Develop trustful and seamless relationship for the mid/long term business with key customers.*EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a relevant Technical field.* 5 years of relevant experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales or consulting* 5-7 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with Service Provider and/or Large Enterprise focused telecommunications solutions expertise.* 3 years of network architecture experience in complex global networks and/or communication solutions* Expertise in SIP, WebRTC, IMS, VoLTE, and APIs* High level of enthusiasm and passion for business development and competition* Ability to work independently with minimum guidance and to own projects from inception to completion* Traveling is expected, up to 50% of the time*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** Expert level knowledge of Service Provider or Large Enterprise Communication Network design and implementation* Proficient in network security, encryption, edge access, threat exposure & identification and security tools.* Experience in IoT application connectivity or management concepts* Experience in cloud models of deployment via IaaS, PaaS and SaaS deployments and an understanding of the value each model provides a customer.* Public cloud certifications a plus, including, but not limited to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architecture Associates and Professional* Experience in DevOps, Big Data, Machine Learning, and/or Serverless Computing**Job:** **Product Development***Organization:** **Oracle***Title:** *Solution Architect- IoT Experience***Location:** *United States***Requisition ID:** *2100039B*"
