Test Architect

"Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will plan, conduct and direct projects or major phases of significant projects. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex technical problems.Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. This position is to specifically support the cloud-native SBC initiative following an Agile CI/CD process.*_Preferred Qualifications:_** 10 years of software engineering experience with networking or telecommunications systems, specifically with SIP/VOIP and multi-media IP.* 2 years experience in a technical lead, architect or management role guiding a geographically distributed (or offshore) testing team is required.* A deep understanding of software development in a team environment, and a track record of shipping software on time is required.* Experience performing functional testing of software across a broad range of next generation IP technologies, including VOIP protocol, internetworking, session replication technologies.* Experience developing and executing test of various components for performance, stability, security and scaling capabilities as well as automating test suites for ongoing testing of product.* Experience developing standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods, analyzing test results and recommending corrective actions.* Experience/Knowledge in the following technical areas is required:o Experience testing/deploying cloud-native applications utilizing cloud-native technologies, specifically Docker containers & Kuberneteso Experience with VoIP technologies based on SIP protocol.o Experience with Networking and IP Security Technologies.o Experience testing highly available/redundant software.o Experience testing telecommunications software.o Test Automation experience using TCL, Perl, or Python.o Experience with Linux, Virtualization, Network Administrationo Experience creating the product test environment independentlyo Experience with networking protocols or networking software development, specifically IPv4/IPv6, TLS/DTLS, SIP, RTP/RTCP, SRTP, DNS, SNMP, ICE, IPsec/IKE, SDP offer answer model, DNS, L2/L3, LI (X1/X2/X3), ICMPo Expert in writing Test Plans, Test procedures and Release plans.o Strong trouble shooting capabilities targeting complicated problems in remote systemo Experience testing software following Agile and CI/CD processes including automation testing development* These skills are not required but nice to have:o Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kibana, EFK, Prometheus, Jaeger & cloud-native databaseso Experience as a scrum master* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.* Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Proven track record of fast learning, innovation, strategic thought leadership and teamwork.* Ability to navigate large organizations, develop relationships and build network.4-year bachelor degree required.
