SAP Supply Master Data (SMD) Functional Consultant

Your Role and Responsibilities
Provide expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements and design. Responsible for designing/configuring business processes in SAP SCM Supply Master Data (SMD). Requires strong organization and communication skills and knowledge of SAP functional areas. Introduces innovative approaches and methodologies for processes and support systems. This position requires experience in Supply Master Data (SMD) interfaces and requirement changes, assisting in the development of functional requirements and specifications and coordinating functional testing of Supply Master Data interfaces and processes.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• At least Ten (10) or more years of SAP experience.
• Possesses Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more functional/module area - primarily SAP SCM Master Data Governance (MDG) (SMD)
• Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP preferred.
• Requires strong organization and communication skills.
• Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
• Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
• May supervise others.
Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting various SAP modules, such as ECC, SCM, SRM, etc. (in a Tier 3 environment) is preferred.
Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelors Degree.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix
• Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
