What you’ll be doing...

As a Marketing Technology Consultant, you will be part of our Transactional Messaging team that defines business requirements for developing high volume email and text communications to increase brand recognition, lower call volumes, and drive revenue.

In this role, you will help coordinate campaign deployment – including the strategic, tactical and support functions (creative, project management, data strategy, technology, and analytics). You will work with business and product sponsors as well as other key stakeholders to leverage marketing technology to drive business performance and best in class customer experiences.

  • Creating IT approach documents for transactional notifications or updates to existing for keeping on alignment with the business and IT partners – maintaining “agile” 2-week delivery timeline.
  • Creating presentations and program documentation for business partners, including Care and executives which requires working knowledge of each of the 1000+ notifications.
  • Remaining up-to-date with the latest trend and best practices in email marketing and measurement for driving campaign automation and efficiencies – including decision engines, image sharing and process automation tools.
  • Developing resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity.
  • Representing transactional team on cross-team projects and coordinate with internal team members (IT, business/product sponsors, brand, care, legal), agencies and vendors to ensure on-time and accurate completion of projects.
  • Preparing detailed marketing program approach documents for complex, rules-based, multi-step customer communications programs.
  • Ensuring proper HTML presentation and the quality of all outbound campaigns on desktop and mobile.
  • Delivering insight and research for optimizing communication programs; customer journey mapping, cross-sell campaign strategies, personalization, and A/B testing.
  • Reporting on campaign results, analytics and direct marketing best practices to optimize communications for key performance metrics.

What we’re looking for...

You have experience building CRM communications programs with multiple data sources and have a proven ability to solve problems. You have a working knowledge of commercial marketing tools (e.g. Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, or Responsys) with experience building customer communications programs. And most importantly, you are someone who can translate requirements from non-technical team members and/or executive leaders to create great customer experiences.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with CRM or direct marketing.
  • Experience with commercial marketing tools (e.g. Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, or Responsys).
  • Experience with marketing technology.
  • Experience managing complex projects and operating under tight timeframes.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with commercial marketing software and/or tools.
  • Experience managing external partners and agencies.
  • Experiencewith user stories, user acceptance testing, and business requirements process.
  • Working knowledge of agile development process.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g. JIRA).
