Consulting Marketing, Marketing Technology & Operations Specialist (Enabling Senior Consultant)

You are an operations professional with an aptitude for all things data and marketing technology. You love bringing order to complex business and technology challenges. And you understand the importance of driving adoption of new tools and processes though education and good user experience.

As a marketing technology and operations specialist for Deloitte's Consulting Marketing Team, you will support high priority strategic initiatives aimed at building and scaling demand generation capabilities. You will work closely with the cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technology requirements, define new processes and workflows, and educate others within the organization on best practices. You thrive working in the details of a project, but you're able to zoom out and connect dots between cross-functional teams. And you'll do it with the support of a growing, close-knit, virtual team who take themselves just seriously enough to get the job done well.

The team executes with agility and measurable performance through best-of-breed solutions, centralization of key information and operations, and optimization of data, tools, people, and process. This dynamic organization has a new position within Marketing Services Operations to advance capabilities around demand generation and ensure that business requirements around new technologies, data sources and reporting are executed in alignment with business needs.

What you'll do (Responsibilities)

  • Serve as Consulting Marketing Liaison for marketing data / technology requests and requirements, fielding inquiries and providing insights to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support collection and aggregation of key business requirements / use cases across technologies, technology integrations, and data pilots (e.g., intent data sources) for the Consulting Marketing organization
  • Support business documentation, as needed, around new data and technology proposals
  • In collaboration with Marketing and Technology teams, assist with continuous aggregation, prioritization and management of requirements backlog based on understanding of business needs and critical dependencies on technology builds
  • Liaise with strategic marketers and marketing operations to ensure all input is communicated to the Demand Gen Center of Excellence for build and ongoing management, where needed
  • Draft and update program-level documentation to reflect relevant Consulting Marketing learnings and insights from campaigns in flight/complete
  • Liaise with our internal agency, IT team, and marketers for management of marketing tools and vendors through selection and installation, updates, maintenance, management of standard processes (e.g., TechTarget, Bombora, ZoomInfo)
  • Manage relevant communications to Consulting Marketing resulting from Vendor governance
  • Assist with user journeys in work management tool to ensure standard campaign tasks are represented accurately and maintained

Qualifications

Required:
  • 6+ years of experience supporting Marketing Technology and Operations teams
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred:
  • Strong CRM and marketing automation experience
  • Extremely detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
  • Highly team-oriented approach with ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet client expectations and deadlines across multiple projects
  • Advanced organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage client expectations across multiple, competing projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times
  • Proven ability working in a matrixed organization with a virtual team, experience in large corporate setting, and/or professional services a plus
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong executive presence, professional client service manner, demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management and adapt to business needs
  • Highly collaborative working style to build relationships, including collaborating with multiple business marketing teams, technology teams, sales, and vendors
  • Experience with Workfront or other MRM / work management tool
  • Project Management Certification
