We are in search of a Infrastructure Engineer to support our central government customer by migrating mission critical legacy infrastructure to the AWS cloud in a large extended team of engineers and experts across a number of technical capabilities and areas of expertise. You will be a member of an cross skilled team that creates a safe, inclusive environment by encouraging people to speak freely, listen to people, and be an advocate for change and innovation. There may be occasional business travel within the South of England..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work within a complex programme focusing on your area of responsibility but ensuring to keep the big picture in mind by building relationships within and outside the programme.

Key skills:

  • Experience in AWS, Python, Linux, Cloud Migration planning

  • Experience in Terraform, Bash or PowerShell Scripting

  • 5-8+ years industry experience required

  • In depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies (virtualisation, storage, directory services, monitoring, and management)

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and their application: (AD, DNS, LDAP, Kerberos)

  • Broad knowledge other technologies and capabilities (software development, systems engineering, data science/engineering, Security (Cyber/Info Assurance)

  • Experience in technology integration scope and migration activities

  • Appreciation of frameworks and methodologies such as ITIL, waterfall, agile (SCRUM, SAFe)

Desirable skills:

  • Oracle Identity Manager (OIM)

  • Exposure to SPLUNK

  • Security Management

Clearance Required:

  • Candidates need to be UK Nationals to qualify. Due to the nature of the project, this role will require having or obtaining an SC clearance
