The Leidos Intelligence Group has a career opportunity for a System Engineer in Columbia, MD.

Program Summary

Leidos is a preferred subcontractor on a large, multi-year contract that provides hardware and software sustainment of large IT systems. Contractors perform dataflow changes, lifecycle management including modernization of aging hardware and software, as well as system monitoring.

Job Summary

The System Engineer applies engineering principles throughout a system’s life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed.

Personnel on the TTO will design, integrate, test, and deploy hardware solutions supporting missions within Enabled and High Speed Capabilities (EHSC) organization. Provide systems engineering support to mission partners for milestone events such as the PDR and CDR; integrate solutions using a combination of procured and government developed solutions; test the delivered solution; and perform all deployment and installation activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Ten (10) years of systems engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

Pay Range:

Pay Range $97,500.00 - $176,250.00
