Job Description:

Leidos is requesting a System Engineer for a position in the Reston, VA area. This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered.


SE will join an existing team tasked with designing an overhaul of the enterprise's Externalized Authorization Management (EAM) system custom components and the automation upgrade of the enterprise's Digital Policy Management (DPM) system. They will research and propose new technical standards and specifications, create digital policy plans to address specific use cases, and develop technical implementation plans to integrate enterprise access control services with systems. This team will be working in an Agile, AWS, DevOps environment. They will be responsible for using data manipulation tools and providing in the data management lifecycle; governance, best practices, and challenges. They will be responsible for creating technical program documentation and testing practices for attributes, resource metadata, and access control components. Furthermore, they should have experience with provisioning systems, workflow systems, user attributes, role-based permissions, or attribute-based permissions within access control and identity management systems.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 10-15 years of experience required with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-12 years of experience with a Master's Degree.

Candidates must meet at least 5 of the below skills:

  • Experience with Agile.

  • Experience creating technical program documentation.

  • Experience using data manipulation tools.

  • Experience with data management lifecycle; governance, best practices and challenges.

  • Enterprise-level IdAM services to include continuous improvement for IdAM services.

  • Enterprise level attribute-based access control (ABAC) technologies.

  • Experience deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructures.

  • Experience developing RESTful web services with JSON.

  • Experience with software configuration management tools in a cloud-based DevOps environment.

  • Experience using XACML for encoding digital policies.

  • Experience using industry standards for machine-readable digital policies.

  • Experience with testing practices for attributes, resource metadata, and access control components.

  • Experience with enterprise level attribute federation.

  • Experience with Key Attribute Sources.

  • Experience provisioning workflow systems, user attributes, role-based permissions, and attribute-based permissions within access control and identity management systems.

  • Experience with analysis of workflow tools.
