Are you a tech-savvy problem solver looking for your next challenge? Leidos is currently seeking a Systems Operator at West Point, NY As a Systems Operator, you'll be providing first-line technical support to AHLTA/CHCS customers, answering questions about account administration, software and documentation distribution, system and network status, applications, and more. With close supervision, you'll assist higher-level technicians with on-site installations and use established guidelines to resolve simple technical or functional questions. You'll also help users navigate software applications and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

As a Systems Operator, you'll be responsible for following detailed administrative procedures and processes to support requests accurately and promptly. If you're unable to handle a request, you'll collect and document necessary information for the appropriate specialist, tiered support, or higher-level personnel. We're looking for a professional who is committed to continuous learning and improvement, and who is eager to acquire and maintain knowledge of MHS clinical systems and new systems to provide exceptional assistance. You'll attend training sessions as required (DoD, Service, MTF, and/or Corporate) and participate in special projects and data calls as needed. The Challenge:

  • AHLTA/CHCS, DII System administration.
  • Scheduled backup Support System Upgrades (Hardware / Software / Firmware).
  • Assist System Engineering with monitoring.
  • System Performance and Management of identified bottlenecks.
  • Assist Software Engineering / TIER III with resolution of data integrity issues.
  • Maintain MHS approved interfaces between MHS IT Systems (CHCS/AHLTA) in coordination with primary vendor.
  • Provide onsite assistance for testing, evaluation and implementation of new customer approved CHCS/AHLTA system enhancements.
  • Provide Reporting and Documentation (Data calls, Downtime, MICCB, FSW updates).
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in major system events.
  • Perform technical escalation Log Remedy tickets with the DHA GSC as required for support of CHCS/AHLTA issues, which cannot be resolved locally.
  • Provide follow-up to onsite customers of DHA GSC Remedy tickets in an open status.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Other duties as assigned directly aid CHCS/AHLTA.

What Sets You Apart:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and less than 1 year of prior experience.
  • Successful completion of an ADPII security clearance investigation prior to your start date.
  • Meet the DOD 8570 certification requirement by obtaining and verifying your Security + certification prior to or within 6 months of your start date.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $44,200.00 - $68,000.00 - $91,800.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
