Eaton’s ES AMER ESS is currently seeking a Vacuum Bells Operator - 3rd Shift to join our team on Lincoln Ave. in Waukesha, WI!

The hourly rate for this position is $22.30 per hour + $2.50/hr shift premium. The core hours are 10 pm - 6 am.

This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $3,000*, less applicable withholding .

*Bonus terms:

  • Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after January 24 th , 2023 to qualify.
  • Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply.
  • Associates must be employed at the time of the payout.
  • Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $2,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment

What you’ll do:

The Vacuum Bell Operator will operate multiple vacuum chambers, including all moves in and out, electrical connections, thermocouple placement, etc.

In this function, you will:

  • Analyze input data from the computer for the bell cycle and determine if adjustments are required to allow for proper heating and vacuum process cycles to occur.
  • Determine the run sequence and load per bell, based on unit specification and bell capabilities, to maximize throughput.
  • Move transformer to vacuum chamber for drying. Make electrical connection for drying cycle per engineering instructions.
  • Determine if units are sufficiently dry based on unit criteria and blip levels.
  • Fill tanks to the required level and checks for leaks.
  • Unload units, preps for final test, and moves to final test queuing area.
  • Load and unloads the pre-heater
  • Use cranes, material handling equipment, and small hand tools

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience and/or knowledge of standard shop specifications (drawings, blueprints, process sheets, etc.)

Skills:

  • Ability to climb a 15-foot vertical ladder to check for foaming, oil level, etc. with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
