Leidos is currently seeking a Cyber Security Solution Architect to join our Engineering, Operations and Integration (EIO) Office of Technology (OOT) team supporting our customer’s mission critical systems and networks. In this role you will help solve demanding challenges via technology, modernization, and transformation processes, and proven methods and solutions. As part of a creative, forward-thinking team, you will help shape solutions and drive insertions of technology into projects/proposals.

As a Cyber Security Solution Architect, you will work with subject matter experts to develop optimal and differentiated Leidos solutions to be delivered on EIO programs and proposals. The Cyber Security Solution Architect will interface daily with multiple system owners, engineers and security teams. This position is responsible for providing engineering expertise and guidance for the design, development, and implementation of IT security solutions that protects and monitors critical mission networks and systems. The Cyber Security Engineer will support enhancements to system security architecture and cyber security capabilities and be responsible for integrating Leidos enterprise solutions into the architecture.

In addition to developing solutions, you will help the Government customer understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical capabilities, features and transformation strategies, engage in proof of concepts, and support division level campaigns and initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities
The Cyber Security Solution Architect is responsible for researching, evaluating, planning, designing, engineering, and delivering cybersecurity solutions. This includes:
•Support overall division technical innovation, differentiation, and strategy to include creation and execution of a technology roadmap, development of technical strategies for division captures, and supporting technical performance on major programs focused on growing the division in the areas of mission support; systems engineering and integration; communications in contested areas; cyber security, cloud, resiliency to support multi-domain and distributed operation in contested environment.
•Review and ensure compliance with customer security policies and requirements.
•Review new and existing system designs for compliance with security standards and best practices.
•Provide architectural and technical guidance and recommendations for securing systems and networks.
•Ensures consistent implementation of the capture process to include playing a major role in strategy reviews, technology readiness reviews, and color reviews.
•Document and communicate security policy to enterprise organizations and gain organization commitment for security plans.
•Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of enterprise operations. Ensure new and existing products conform to information security policies, standards, and best practices.
•Understand competitor and teammate technology.

Basic Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Information Security System Engineering or similar field
•BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
•Understanding of IT security principals, technologies, best practices to include logical access control, PKI and other encryption methods, network-based and host-based IDS/IPS, security configuration baselines, auditing, vulnerability discovery, and management.
•Experience successfully implementing advanced cyber security technologies in a complex environment.
•Experience developing and implementing information security controls, procedures, and documentation for the operations of systems.
•Experience documenting systems' adherence to NIST Special Publication 800-53, Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and Organizations.
•Experience accrediting systems following the Risk Management Framework.
•Experience leading technical teams to include solution architects and solution developers
•Experience with ongoing Authorizations and Assessments (A&A) and continuous monitoring.
•Demonstrated experience in testing and implementing network vulnerability and protection.
•Senior-level knowledge of information security concepts, policy frameworks, and best practices.
•Ability to develop, manage, and implement a technology roadmap and portfolio
•Proficient discussing Cybersecurity Policy at the architecture level as driven by modern infrastructure not limited to but including containers, serverless infrastructure, SaaS, DaaS, PaaS
•Must be highly organized and self-motivated with excellent documentation skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Candidate should be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members at all levels.
•Must have a Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
•Information Assurance Certifications (i.e., CISSP, CISA, GIAC, Security +, Certified Ethnical Hacker, etc.)
•CISCO CCNA, CCNP or CCIE certified.
•Knowledge of Agile development using SAFe
•Experience using Atlassian tool suite to include JIRA and Confluence to track activities and knowledge management documentation.
•Experience with working Army, Navy and Air Force Customers highly desired
•Prior technical roles within similar organizations with growing duties and responsibilities
•Large acquisition program experience
•Demonstrated expertise and program performance in the areas of solutioning different technologies, including cloud, data, cyber, network, SAP and end-user capabilities.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
