Job Description

As a Senior Data Analyst at our Company you will be part of an integrated team dedicated to fortifying, digitizing, and enhancing the data foundation of manufactured products and medicines.


  • Coordinate with technical and business product team resources to refine data mapping and transformation rules for SAP-based solutions and technology

  • Coordinate with technical and business product team resources to maintain data quality standards

  • Present error/exception reports to the business and work on correcting data to reduce error records

  • Support data cleansing activities with the business by utilizing exception reports

  • Create and maintain Data Construction Server Excel templates to enable data construction accuracy and completeness

  • Coordinate with ETL Developers to ensure code meets design specifications, follows our Company technology standards, and is easy to maintain.
  • Manage execution of data migration objects during data test load cycles

  • Maintain and update detailed data mapping documents to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Oversee SAP Product Structure or SAP Specification Management data migration design and execution

  • Work with data owners to gain a deep understanding of legacy data and ensure future state data requirements are met

  • Attend meetings and address any impacts to the data migration team

  • Communicate and escalate risks, issues, and status

  • The ability to work independently and effectively as a team across global hubs, and maintain a highly collaborative, transparent effort


  • Associates Degree (Prefer Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related degree)


  • 3+ years of working experience with SAP data migration projects or SAP data related activities

  • 5+ years of working experience in overall SAP technology projects

  • Demonstrated knowledge of ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) concepts within an SAP environment or project

  • Working experience with data profiling, data quality, data migration and data validation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with both a business and a technical audience

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with SAP Product Structure or SAP Specification Management data objects

  • Understanding of GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations and guidelines

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with and through others to achieve shared goals

  • Prior experience developing ETL programs, especially tools used by Syniti
