This position is responsible for supporting IAAS engagements through data analytic tools and processes. Responsible for working closely with data analytics teams to create databases, develop and support business intelligence tools, and support existing data analytics systems and reports. This includes identifying and integrating data sources, assessing data quality, and developing and executing data analytic tools to support audit work.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Learn the systems and data-sources to retrieve and validate the data
- Collect data from multiple data sources and perform data integration, data matching/linkages
- Design, build extracts and query complex data sets from data warehouse
- Develop extracts, reports and analysis using complex data and information from data warehouses
- Use analytic tools to script/program/visualize the data and objectives
- Use various RPA tools and programming languages such as UI Path to automate reporting process
- Troubleshoot code issues and fix them in a timely manner
- Perform data quality checks to ensure data accuracy in reports and extracts
- Closely monitor policies and system updates to identify impacts to the reports and data analysis
- Prepare technical documentation and narratives to support the logic and methodologies used in the data analysis
- Provide support to data analytics team on data sources, reporting and analytic capabilities and methods
- Work with data analytics team to understand data requests and needs to establish requirements for reports and analysis
- Collaborate with Information Technology and Vendor staff to report and follow-up on any technical issues related to data loads and data issues in the warehouse
- Manage and maintain Data Analytics platforms including being custodian of Protected information
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Analytics, or Mathematics
- Pursue audit, assurance, risk, or IT related certification
- 2 years of SQL analytics experience
- 2 years of Robotic Process Automation (UI Path etc.)
- Experience in programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Visual Basic, Ruby, Oracle PL/SQL, R, Python, UI Path etc.)
- Internal Audit / Control experience
- Knowledge of ETL Tools (SSIS, DataStage)
- Knowledge of SQL database, Big Data tools, Cloud platforms
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience working in a Healthcare Industry and or a complex IT environment
