Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop analytics/technology enablement solutions using Research & Development data to accelerate or scale high-value exploratory, regulatory, and decision-making support projects
  • Develop data access structures and provisioning, and data transfers (internal and external) 
  • Access/transform complex data/metadata for use in downstream systems and visualizations

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • BS/MS in STEM (Computer Science, Engineering) or a degree in the physical or life sciences with computer science expertise
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience, or a strong technical graduate
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Ability to multitask/maintain multiple related workstreams concurrently
  • Experience working with data visualization platforms (Spotfire, Tableau, Superset)
  • Proficiency in using modern SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB)
  • Proficient with programming in Python or JavaScript platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS, Google, or Azure (preferably AWS) 
  • Applies understanding of internal/external challenges to contribute to the team's vision and maintains a focus on work in accomplishing operational goals.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with UI/UX design concepts
  • Familiarity with SCRUM agile project management
  • Understanding of FAIR data principles
  • Familiarity/Interest in Machine Language (ML) and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts a plus
  • Familiarity with Biology/Chemistry sciences for drug discovery
  • Familiarity with Statistics, particularly with Statistics for Data Science and Analysis
  • Have a strong commitment to a career in technology with a passion for healthcare   
  • Ability to understand the needs of the business and commitment to deliver the best user experience and adoption   
  • Able to collaborate across multiple teams    
  • Excellent communication skills   
  • Innovative and inquisitive nature to ask questions, offer bold ideas and challenge the status quo   
  • Agility to learn new tools and processes  

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $97,000 to $123,000 plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed.

Final, individual compensation is decided commensurate with demonstrated experience.
