This position will also work closely with Royalty & Contract Compliance, Revenue Operations, and the Controllers teams to support month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting needs. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in performing rate/volume margin analysis, be detail-oriented, and deliver reports on time with special attention to accuracy.**Responsibilities:**+ Business Partner support to Strategy and Business Development organization within the Oracle Data Cloud Sales organization+ Gross Margin reporting and data insights in a timely & accurate manner to business stakeholders+ Budget & Forecast support, and handling ad hoc queries+ Present KPIs to management/stakeholders+ Produce monthly reports for Data Partners+ Review new partner contracts/cancellations and impacts current Gross Margins+ Provide month-end close support for all Gross Margins related to our Audience and Context product lines. Including ownership for preparation, review, and submission for the following:+ Monthly calculations of the direct cost of data+ Preparing and posting cost of data journal entries for actuals+ Preparing revenue and cost of data accruals each month+ Consolidating all revenue and direct cost of data for review of overall margins across multiple products+ Accrual variance analysis+ Monthly rate, volume, mix margin analysis+ Providing variance analysis, bridges, and explanations to corporate+ Analyze large data sets and provide an executive summary+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide solutions to management+ The role will evolve and expand to more responsibilities over time as the business moves to operationally integrated processes**Preferred Skills and Experience:**+ Bachelor of Commerce degree in finance/accounting; MBA degree is preferred+ 8 years of relevant experience in FP&A with strong knowledge on Margin Analysis+ Must be a self-starter and takes ownership for full deliverables on time with accuracy+ Ability to think analytically, problem solve and focus attention to detail+ Strong English written and verbal communications skills+ Experience working with cross-functional teams and able to work independently+ Experience and comfortable with working with multiple financial systems and/or process improvement**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies.As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in Oracle Financials.
