Job Description:

Leidos is seeking a Product Support Lead to manage, coordinate, direct and participate in the activities related to product support for a complex simulation training system. This position will influence, direct and contribute to system level and component level solutions involving support planning, staffing, test, validation and program execution, The Product Support LEad will be the lynch-pin for tying together and recommending/implementing new solutions, processes, policies, and standards in support of a system of system simulation training system.

A successful candidate will be able to manage a diverse team of supporting personnel dealing with areas such as material (GFE) management, establish and manage a data library, define and support up to system level logistics demonstrations and evaluations, create and plan product support plans and projections for lifecycle sustainment, develop the maintenance support plan/concept including help desk, automated BIT testing, 2 level maintenance concepts, technical support documentation and all associated training development and activities. Candidates should have a good command of system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of complex systems.

A successful candidate will deal with complex issues that stretch across software, network and hardware integrated solutions in a distributed and virtualized Agile environment. Outputs from this effort will create, validate and deliver all supporting Product Support and Training Documentation for the complete simulation training system being fielded. Familiarity with Mil-Std IETM formats, tools and protocols will be needed. Candidate will be required to meet challenging schedules and must have experience with incremental delivery of successful product support artifacts and services in an Agile environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess an Active Secret DOD clearance

  • Bachelor's degree; Possess at least 12 years of relevant experience in Logistics support and Product Support

  • Have at least 5 year’s experience in leading a diverse team to accomplish a complex objective

  • Proven example of product support planning and successful execution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in training, logistics and system support activities

  • Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and Agile program development

  • Familiarity with the creation of video, electronic and embedded training and logistics products
