The Manager, IT Audit in GIA will work in a team environment to plan and execute dynamic risk-based audits and identify value-added recommendations to strengthen Company processes and controls. The manager is responsible for providing guidance, ensuring quality, and timeliness of the engagement. They are accountable for managing a team of Senior (Sr.) Auditors assigned to their audit engagements by providing guidance, reviewing work for all audit sections, and proactively providing timely performance feedback to their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with audit teams to execute IT, integrated and operational audits
  • Lead planning activities to identify significant risks and design appropriate risk-based audit procedures. Ensure ERM risks are considered during the engagement
  • Lead meetings involving various levels of management to effectively communicate audit status and observations, manage relationships, and help build partnership
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills to drive all phases of the engagement
  • Review audit documentation prepared by Sr. Auditors to ensure they are clear, concise, high quality, and include details to support the results of testing procedures in accordance with departmental and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards
  • Prepare audit reports, including clearly written, concise audit observations that effectively communicate identified issues and their related value add corrective actions
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and feedback to Sr. Auditors to foster an environment of continuous development
  • Drive continued utilization of data analytics
  • Participate in departmental projects as assigned (e.g., audit lessons learned, sharing best practices, continuous improvement, etc.)
  • Participate in the annual training week in addition to regular departmental meetings
  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding new hires, rotational, and guest auditors to develop a diverse and high performing team

Following skills and experiences are essential:

  • BA/BS degree in Information Sciences, Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, Accounting, Finance, or other business discipline is required
  • Minimum of 4 - 6 years of prior IT / Operational audit and/or IT related experience (e.g., Business Analysis, Project Management, Operations, Compliance, Information Security / Cybersecurity)
  • Strong knowledge of IT General Controls, System Development Life Cycle, COBIT and IIA standards
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience in developing reports and delivering presentations.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, including international travel for up to two weeks at a time
  • Position can be based out of Princeton, NJ or Tampa, FL

Following skills and/or experiences are an advantage:

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Professional certification (i.e., CISA, CIA, CISSP or equivalent)
  • Experience in auditing system pre/post implementations, cybersecurity, data privacy, digital transformation, and other emerging technologies
  • Experience with Internal Audit, and/or Big Four/other consulting firms
  • Data analytics experience
