This role is part of the IT Process and Reporting team. This team acts as a center of excellence for IT delivery processes & is responsible for designing end to end IT delivery processes that tie together disparate ones, speed throughput and boost transparency. We foster process adoption in collaboration with users through training and continuous improvement & drive innovation, leveraging a common technology platform, in ServiceNow. Additionally, we integrate process and financial insights into a central IT Business Management advisory capability.

This role, Senior Manager – ITBM Insights & Analytics, has overall accountability for managing our centralized reporting and dashboards for the IT Business Management group. It provides best in class data and analytics support, for Successful Execution of IT Strategy through:

  • Managing a centralized PowerBi dataset with various reports & dashboards
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders & customers of the ITBM organization
  • Empower key stakeholders with capabilities, tools and data as needed
  • Maintain the operations of the ITBM group driving efficiency for the process owners

Detailed Position Responsibilities:

  • Managing a centralized PowerBi dataset with various reports & dashboards; This responsibility requires the skills to anticipate user needs vs. simply executing on requirements.
  • Oversee and maintain the quality of data across the tools & works with data owners to remediate issues.
  • Provide a service to customers in the development of ad-hoc data analysis, reports, or dashboards.
  • Act as a scrum master to solicit & write requirements then deliver the requirements.
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute various reports for daily operations and organizational reporting.
  • Ability to multi-task, flexibility around moving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage employee, contractor and/or capacity-based resources globally in delivering operational reporting & new capabilities.

Desired Experience:

  • Achieved a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline with a minimum six-year business experience; Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience of “developing” meaningful reports that provide customers what they want and what they need for meaningful insights. Specifically, with a PowerBi dataset & dashboards.
  • Consistently demonstrates an ability to visualize and articulate clear insights from complex data sets.
  • Strong experiences in metrics role utilizing modeling, business intelligence, and other analytic tools.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills should include pivot tables, data merging, charting, pivot charts, data models, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without direct authority, managing stakeholder expectations at all levels in a matrixed global environment while maximizing business value delivered.
  • Demonstrated ability to use structured problem solving and available tools to quickly evaluate problems, identify root causes, create action plans, assess impact, and develop resolution options.
  • Manages multiple & exercise diplomacy all while maintaining a comfort level for ambiguity.
  • Advance facilitation & meeting management skills; Strong communicator via all media: collaboration technologies (SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, etc.) & presentations written, emails, & verbal.
  • Act with integrity and develops credibility through an action-oriented approach that demonstrates accountability for results.
