The Digital Manufacturing team, part of BMS’ Global Manufacturing IT organization, is seeking a Technical Writer Analyst to meet evolving and growing needs for IT across the company’s digital manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will apply their technical knowledge to develop, deliver and maintain optimally efficient systems for digital manufacturing content to directly support BMS’ worldwide manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain system of content management for maximum efficiencies and control.
• Maintain, organize, and establish periodic reviews of all EMES content, procedural documentation, training and support content.
• Support owners of EMES core content and customer facing content supporting EMES Next Gen rollout to identify gaps, maintain accuracy and communicate with all users.
• Support continued generation and revision of identified procedural documentation.
• Apply content strategy for future expansion to develop and deliver for all Digital Manufacturing workstreams.
• Independently identify and resolve complex problems through good decision making, utilizing functional & technical skills while demonstrating a compliance mindset.
• Monitor and report on effectiveness of the existing solutions and changes to solutions when implemented.
• Capture and clearly document and report on relevant business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain a range of documents supporting BMS’ global manufacturing standards, guidelines, and architecture.
• Collaborate with architects and project team members to assemble and maintain deliverables, including detailed diagrams. These will describe current state, target state, and as-built descriptions of manufacturing systems and supporting IT infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain formal standards, Standard Operating Procedures, and other controlled documents as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment, playing an active role concurrently on multiple ongoing projects.
• Familiarity with basic IT infrastructure and application concepts like virtual servers, networks, integration, firewalls, and application lifecycle.

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $94,000 - $118,000 plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed.

Final, individual compensation is decided commensurate with demonstrated experience.
