The Senior Manager, Emerging Capabilities will be responsible for building and implementing strategic capabilities identified by Quantum Leap – develops training and acts as SME for the GPS BIA organization for new analytical capabilities such as digital twins, discreet event simulation and other Monte Carlo like simulations.

Responsiblities:

  • Responsible for building strategic capabilities for the GPS organization as identified by quantum leap

  • Works with leaders and SMEs across the GPS organization to develop, validate and implement analytical capabilities that will enable QL goals of launching more products to more patients, faster.

  • Works with other members of the GPS-BIA organization to create best-practices and standards for usage of analytics and data across the enterprise.

  • Develops and implements platforms and analytical solutions

  • Creates capabilities using Tableau, R shiny, DASH or other visualization tools for continuous usage across the enterprise

  • Assists in running business operations for the organization. Setting priorities and allocating resources to best support GPS and BIA goals.

  • Creates training documentation and sets best practices for the use of programming, coding, scaling applications and visualizations.

  • Develops innovative solutions to enterprise problems that further the advancement of our “One BIA” strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors engineering, business or IT required.

  • Masters or PhD in analytical / IT related field(i.e. predictive sciences, statistics, engineering, computer science). 1+ years experience with PhD. 2+ years experience with Masters preferred

  • Expertise in the development of IT infrastructure highly desirable

  • Experience in UX/UI interfaces

  • Expertise with a full stack of analytical tools required:

  • Database architecture: SAP HANA, SQL, Oracle, Graphical databases

  • Analytics platforms: R, Amazon SageMaker, Domino, GitHub

  • Programming: Python, C#, JavaScript, etc

  • Visualization: Tableau, Spotfire, etc

  • Expertise in 1-2 analytics platforms and programming languages required

  • Conceptualizes business problems and develops frameworks around analytical methods for teams

  • Experienced project manager

The starting compensation for this job in Devens, MA is a range from $129,000-$162,00 plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
