This role spans a range of media (both earned and owned) activities, thought leadership, and social media programs to help build awareness for Oracles Cloud offerings and to highlight Oracle Cloud competitive advantages.Additionally, in collaboration with a diverse portfolio of stakeholders, including specific business units and relevant functional experts within the company, the Senior PR Manager will identify, prioritize, and support advocacy and policy communications related to IT modernization, cloud computing, and other business initiatives.The Senior PR Manager should be a seasoned communications professional with exceptional writing and critical thinking skills, as well as a strong understanding of the media landscape. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, has a strong intellectual curiosity, is comfortable working within a matrixed organization and is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.**Responsibilities:**+ Create and execute integrated communications programs including earned, owned, social and thought leadership elements that amplify Oracles technology story.+ Proactively identify and develop content that aligns with the strategic priorities of the business.+ Have a passion for developing and executing media relations programsbuilding and maintaining reporter relationships, identifying story ideas, pitching stories and securing coverage.+ Provide communications support and counsel to internal stakeholders and global colleagues.+ Conceptualize, write and deliver long-form content such as press releases, contributed articles and op-eds, as well as social content for channels including LinkedIn and Twitter.+ Work cross functionally with various teams at Oracle.**Basic Requirements:**+ BA/BS in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations preferred+ 7 years of communications experience, including technology/product and thought leadership programs+ Experience working with B2B technology companies and/or public sector organizations+ Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills+ Exceptional attention to detail+ Ability to thrive under pressure**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Development of communication programs to promote Oracle's products & services.Integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns, exercising judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for best practice / creative solution. As a recognized authority and leading contributor maintain regular interface between the division and Corporate. Plan and manage pan-geography corporate and local campaign media plans. Plan, manage and implement corporate and local campaign advertising creative. Manage tier 2 local advertising and arrange sign off with Corporate. Integrate all advertising across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising guidelines. Oversee partner advertising. Develop and manage brand communications audit. Measure advertising effectiveness.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience.
