"**Telesales Business Development Snr Manager****Preferred Qualifications**The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Business Development Consultants. The mangers responsibility is to develop and manage a high performance process to identify, cultivate and progress commercial MySQL product opportunities for on premise and cloud, that feed the pipeline for OD Prime, OD Mirror and KAD sales representatives. This position will be the daily bridge between the marketing and sales teams and play a critical role in the growth of Oracle MySQLs business.**Responsibilities:**+ Train and Mentor Business Development Consultants+ Hire Business Development Consultants+ Manage team to daily objectives on outbound calls and monthly, quarterly and annual objectives on high quality leads, conversions to opportunities, cloud pipeline, cloud consumption and similar+ Provide Weekly and Monthly reports to Director of WW Business Development.+ Regular cross-functional interaction with both the Product Marketing, Marketing Campaigns and Sales Operations teams, as well as throughout the Company.+ Communicate weekly with Director of WW Business Development to ensure qualitative and quantitative objectives are met.+ Provide value to team by understanding and identifying training and coaching needs. Specifically, work with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Pre-Sales Engineering, as well as Sales managers to communicate training needs and organize programs to address those needs.+ Maintain high group morale, energy and commitment through incentive based compensation plans.+ Participate in calling activity with each consultant at least once per month to assess level of productivity and identify any coaching requirements.**Qualifications and Experience:**+ Three years as a Manager in a customer service / call center / sales environment+ Experience with value selling using a methodology such as: Spin Selling, Target Account Selling, Solution Selling+ Strong interpersonal, phone and written communication skills+ Experience selling a high technology software or hardware product in a fast paced environment+ University degree in Business, Communications, or Economics strongly preferred**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Provides daily operations management of the inbound/outbound telemarketing call response and lead qualification functions. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.Manages a team of telesales business development representatives for a territory/region. Creates product, sales, and business function training programs. Coordinates marketing (direct mail, advertising, etc.) activities with Marketing organization. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Manages budget. Provides support to marketing and sales programs.Experience qualifying prospects and customers; understanding of the sales cycle process. Strong leadership skills. Strong Oracle product knowledge preferred. BA/BS preferred. Experience managing staff. Manage and control activities in multi-functional areas of sections.
