Looking for an individual with:+ Strong leadership skills needed to build and motivate the new team. Manage a team of developers to design and applications using Java, JPA, Spring, JavaScript, HTML, CSS+ Mentor the team of developers on development approaches and practices.+ Build partnerships with the business team+ Good hands on technical skills who enjoys delving into the technical underpinnings of the implementation and contributing on a technical level as required+ Research new frameworks, technologies and recommend for adoption+ Skills to manage and coordinate complex tasks with various stake holders.+ Strong communication skills+ Ability to effectively interact with sub teams in all time zones to support a global implementation+ Implement complex cross functional solutions that are high performing and with excellent quality**Desired Industry Experience:**+ Overall experience of 5 to 8 years in software coding and development and 1 to 3 years in managing a software development team+ Experience in building highly scalable solutions+ Experience managing multiple projects with aggressive timelines+ Experience building applications in Java, JPA, Hibernate+ Experience in developing web services+ Exposure to Javascript, HTML, CSS and other front end frameworks+ Strong problem solving and analytical skills+ Ability to work in a matrix environment**Education and Certification:**The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in computer science or related field.**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
