The team

The Deloitte Technology Academy (DTA) will be a leading-edge, branded educational institute that develops new age digital skills, offering a comprehensive cross-business curriculum, blend of solutions, dedicated faculty, and strategic partnerships that differentiate Deloitte as the premier organization for technology skills development. When operating at full scale, we expect Deloitte Tech Academy to train tens of thousands of learners annually in critical technology skills including AI, Cloud, Cyber, custom development, and package technologies.

Work you'll do

As a Specialist, you will actively support projects aligned to one or more DTA threads while driving connection across the broader team. You will support the design and development of the DTA in alignment with the strategic vision. As we stand up the DTA organization, threads of work include:

  • Governance: establish and implement a strategic vision for 1) use of learner assessments to measure upskilling needs and progress, 2) badges/certifications and the relationship of skill acquisition to deployment, rewards, career progression; 3) overall DTA success measures; 4) DTA budgeting/operations
  • Infrastructure: establish and implement a strategic vision for 1) creation and management of dedicated faculty for DTA; 2) optimizing delivery approaches for efficiency and effectiveness; 3) balancing delivery modalities and defining needs for a physical DTA presence; 4) enabling tools/technology to support DTA processes
  • Ecosystem: establish and implement a strategic vision for an L&D ecosystem for DTA including 1) corporate learning vendors (e.g., Udemy, Jigsaw, LinkedIn Learning, etc.); 2) academic institutions in both US and India; 3) technology alliance partners (e.g., SAP, Oracle, AWS, Google, etc.)
  • Curriculum: establish and implement a strategic vision for the DTA curriculum including 1) collaboration with 'schools' to align curriculum structures (e.g., AI, Cloud, Cyber, etc.); 2) establish curriculum standards, templates, etc.; 3) build/curate shared courses or learning pathways for common learning needs across DTA schools
  • Tech Strategy/Brand: establish and implement a strategic vision that promotes DTA for both internal and external audiences in conjunction with broader brand initiatives underway (e.g., Talent Experience, Tech Narrative, etc.)
  • DTA Schools: drive development efforts and innovation within one of DTA's initial content areas, including Cloud, AI, Cyber, and USI 'Quantum Leap' (a technical bootcamp for new campus hires in India)


As a member of one of these thread teams, you will collaborate with a blended US/USI team and exhibit agility in driving connection across a diverse and cross-functional set of stakeholders. Reporting to the DTA COE Thread Leader or Manager, your responsibilities may include:

  • Plan, execute and operationalize development programs and processes that support Deloitte professionals' performance and growth in technology
  • Create and review deliverables for accuracy and quality
  • Assist in the creation and development of various learning programs and training experiences, to help Deloitte personnel develop the capabilities and knowledge needed to grow as a technologist at Deloitte
  • Participate in or lead learning project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among a diverse set of cross-functional business and talent stakeholders, SMEs and peers
  • Use critical thinking skills to identify, research, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions to complex problems
  • Contribute to remote teamwork across geographies
  • Confidently raise issues and risks, and manage-up to drive achievement of desired business outcomes
  • Contribute to an inclusive, high-performing team culture
  • Maintain an active curiosity about the latest trends in the technology training landscape (including competitor actions regarding their own technology academies)
  • Use data throughout the solution development lifecycle to distill insights


Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 4-6 years of related professional experience
  • Demonstrated project and program management experience: organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environment
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
    • In Excel, aggregate data, conduct complex analysis, and display results visually
    • In PowerPoint, translate data into insights and tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience that conveys clear, actionable recommendations
    • In Word, create clear, concise communications with a user-friendly layout conducive to cognition
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


Preferred:

  • Experience working in a learning and development organization
  • Prior consulting or professional services experience


The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,570 to $144,695.
