Your Role and Responsibilities
***US Citizenship is required for this role. Candidates for consideration must EITHER have a Secret OR Top Secret Clearance ***
Our tightly integrated software development team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work onsite at Colorado Springs, CO location. Following modern architectural strategies, you will work hands-on with new, as well as maintain existing, technologies in a rapid agile environment. Your direct efforts will continuously enable defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Certifications:
- SAFe for Teams certification.
- AWS Dev Ops Engineer (within 6 Months of start date).
- Security Clearance: Pre-existing, Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Experience in AT LEAST TWO of the following: React, Angular, Python, JavaScript, CSS, & HTML, Databases, SQL, Gitlab, & Artifactory.
- Relevant experience performing engineering activities in the Government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit or non-profit Government support, or development contractor arena.
- Experience or Knowledge in the following Areas: Agile software development, agile methodologies, agile project management, software project management, defensive cyber military operations, software development life cycle management.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related specialty (Computer Science, Data Science, etc.) + 4 years of related professional experience.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Master’s degree in STEM or related specialty (Computer Science, Data Science, etc.) + 2 years of related professional experience.
- Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command.
- Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office.
- Familiarity & Knowledge: Apache Spark, k8s (Kubernetes), Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud & NiFi.
