What you’ll be doing...

• Responsible for the design and development of medium to highly-complex systems.
• Skills include system design (including secure software development designs) and analysis as well as business skills.
• Works with data and project managers to understand systems and consults with customers to understand needs.
• Developments and implements new systems, corrects software errors in existing systems, and works to improve performance through hardware upgrades.
• Manages computer systems in a business environment and responsible for resolving technical issues.

Where you’ll be working:

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Five or more years of Java development experience with Multi-threaded processes.
• Experience in Unix/Linux/Python scripting.
• Experience in AWS/Cloud technologies is required
• Knowledge of programming, data structures, computer systems, and software engineering.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A Master's degree.
• Angular 13+ experience.
• Microservices and Restful/SOAP Web services experience.
• Knowledge of secure software development practices to incorporate security by design.
• Message Queue handling (MQ / AQ / SQS) experience.
• Experience in SQL (DML / DDL / Storeprocedures).
• Experience with JDBC and connection pooling.
• Experience working on Spring Boot Application server and Eureka integration.
• Experience working on spring framework.
• Experience working on hibernate framework.
• Experience in product-oriented organization and agile software development.
• Working familiarity with DevOps (e.g., GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, Artifcactory).
• Ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• A self-starter and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
