Job Description:

Leidos is partnering with the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) MFLC Program to support to military service members and their families across the country and around the world. In support of this important mission, Leidos is hiring a Full Stack Developer.

In this hands on position, you will work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available scalable real time systems. You will exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines, and other resource constraints. You will participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development life cycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and unit testing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and support ability and effectiveness analyzes
  • Must be a self-starter, strong leader, and have the ability to work independently with little supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Frontend experience with Vue, Nuxt, or similar JavaScript framework and ability to come up to speed quickly.
  • Backend experience with Java and C#.
  • Experience configuring and deploying AWS environments to include servers, load balancers, VPCs, etc.
  • Experience with MySQL, preferably on AWS RDS.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of software design patterns.
  • Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Jira)
  • Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related and 8 – 12 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range:Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
