Senior Full Stack Java Developer
Amentum is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.
You will be a part of a team performing task based and project based work by receiving tasks from a variety of sources to include Email, IM, phone, stand up meetings, and ticketing systems.
As a member of the team, you will:
Perform full stack software development, testing, work directly with customers to get requirements and create stories, and keep project documentation up to date.
Partner with other IT teams such as corporate cyber security, software development and business.
Self-identify projects and also receive them from the customers.
Work with a team using agile methods for software development.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience OR an Associates Degree and 11 years of experience OR High School Diploma / GED and 14 years of experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Clearance.
Experience in full-stack software development experience using Java.
Experience with Angular.
Experience with Spring Boot.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud native infrastructure services (caching, configuration management, message bus, service discovery)
Experience developing microservices written in Java.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud native infrastructure components (e.g. Hashicorp Consul/Vault, Ambassador, Apache Ignite, Splunk).
Experience or familiarity with Mongo.
Experience with different java-based test and performance tools.
Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
Experience with automated testing of both Java code (e.g. JUnit) and user interfaces (e.g. Selenium or Protractor)
