What you'll be doing...

MTAS and the Network Provisioning systems are in the middle of a transformation program, modernizing its activation and provisioning platform from twentyyear old legacy, C++ system to a microservices-based cloud native Open Systems platform while also actively working on large-scale integrations like Visible, Tracfone, 5G, etc.

  • Leading the Architecture and Design for the Network Provisioning Systems.
  • Working through the various phases of the Software Development Life cycle, analyzing the critical Production issues, and planning for proper resolution.
  • Interacting with the Application Leads and other business partners to ensure smooth work operations.
  • Analyzing architecture and relationships between systems and being able to do an end-to-end design for systems.
  • Leading the Security and Vulnerability Risk Management efforts for the Network Provisioning systems to bring the risk score to an acceptable level and maintain the score going forward.
  • Providing guidance to the team members, both onshore and offshore to develop, unit test, and integration test the application for the network provisioning applications.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Java J2EE, Spring Framework, JSF, JSP, React JS, PL/SQL, Kibana, Grafana, Unix/Linux, Shell scripting.
  • Experience in databases such as Oracle.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Experience with Reactive Java is preferred.
  • Strong Communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of concepts of security, privacy, etc.
  • Experience with DevOps Automation and building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Ansible.
  • C/C++ experience.
  • Experience in Kafka (MSK & Confluent), Redis, Lambda, Kubernetes container management, APIGEE, Ansible & Overall AWS.
  • Experience in Camel, Spring Framework, Groovy.
  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in technology.
  • Telecom experience especially with the knowledge of the underlying network.
