Software Defined Networking (SDN) Business unit focuses on software based networking, an architecture approach that enables network to be intelligently and centrally controlled using software, everywhere from the data center to the campus to the edge.

The NS1 Connect Platform provides the rock solid Managed DNS and dynamic Traffic Steering capabilities for the modern hybrid network. We're connecting audiences to applications, and we're looking for engineers to help drive the innovation.

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer who will play a pivotal role in our Emerging Technology team, contributing expertise in Python (Django) and JavaScript (React) to bring innovative ideas to life.

Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role you will work closely with product managers, designers, and architects to turn concepts into functional applications.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Building and maintaining web applications using Python (Django) and JavaScript (React).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement RESTful APIs.
  • Leveraging your expertise in relational databases to optimize data storage and retrieval.
  • Applying your UNIX and networking knowledge to ensure the robustness and scalability of our applications.
  • Contributing to the design of distributed systems, considering modern internet infrastructure operations such as metrics, logging, and automation.
  • Demonstrating your familiarity with the DNS protocol, security best practices, and Kubernetes for extra kudos.
