Benefits include a flexible schedule, work-from-home opportunities, and good work/life balance.**Responsibilities**+ Work with stakeholders and product owners across the globe to refine and drive requirements, developing user model, designing and prototyping UI for interaction, documenting and maintaining UI specifications+ Dive deep into user needs and interview users to learn about their goals, needs, tasks, and validate our designs+ Communicate with Product Management and development teams to evangelize UX directions and resolve design tradeoffs and implementation issues+ Produce wireframes, flowcharts, storyboards, scenarios, and interactive prototypes+ Conduct user research and interviews+ Collaborate with product managers to conduct necessary research and support usability efforts throughout the standard development cycle+ Become the owner of the product and help drive overall improvements over multiple releases+ Utilize and contribute to an existing Style Guide and Design Pattern Library**Desired Qualifications**+ Must provide either online or PDF portfolio with relevant work samples+ 5 to 10 years of industry experience designing and prototyping UI for interaction on shipped or to be shipped products+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related discipline+ Experience working in product-based design teams+ Strong conceptual and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to prototype and design elegant UI solutions to user problems+ Proven track record in applying user-centered design to product development+ Strong communication and people skills while working in a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment+ Strong visual design skills+ Experience creating data visualizations and other innovating ways to display complex data+ Ability to see the big picture as well as careful attention to detail+ Understanding of responsive grid is required+ Experience with mockups, wireframing, and prototyping tools like Axure, Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD, Figma, or others is a must**Bonus Points**+ Experience designing for a large-scale data management application+ Knowledge of cloud-based services, databases, patching flows, etc+ Knowledge of HTML, CSS Processors (e.g. SASS, LESS, etc.), and jQuery_As part of Oracle's employment process, candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment screening process after a conditional offer has been extended._**Oracle is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses. Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
