Leidos has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Help Desk Technician to work independently with minimal supervision leading the help desk team for the Infrastructure and Deactivation & Remediation contractors at the Paducah site as well as the DOE site office.
NOTE: Must be available to work ON-SITE in Paducah or Kevil, KY
Primary Responsibilities
Provide customer support to individuals regarding IT issues when possible and escalate the issue if not
Troubleshoot customer-reported issues
Image, move, and install PCs
Manage print queues and provide support for printers and copiers
Active directory management of users and security groups
Basic Qualifications
Demonstrated success improving, optimizing, standardizing, and streamlining customer support processes
Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience. Preferred candidates will have 5 years related experience.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, Windows 10 and 7 operating systems, and Windows server operating systems,
Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience and proven success working in a multi-tiered team environment.
