We are seeking a smart and friendly data center enthusiast with a knack for problem solving, follow-through, and communication to join Epic’s hosting team for work in our data center in the Madison, Wisconsin area. You’ll conduct server installation, wiring, removal, and disposal of enterprise-class data center equipment. You will help plan the expansion and roll-out of additional equipment and track technical asset use throughout the space. Use your fervor for technology to revolutionize healthcare. Requirements

  • A history of professional and/or academic success relevant to networking, storage, and data centers
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Available to work second shift
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
  • COVID-19 vaccination
As a member of the Hosting team at Epic you'll be responsible for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting. Those responsibilities include:
  • Following policies and procedures and escalating when policies or procedures are not followed
  • Escalating potential security incidents and providing relevant information
  • Meeting all security responsibilities defined in policies and procedures
