Amentum is seeking a Network Technician in Andros Island, Bahamas to work as part of a close knit team, as well as independently, to accomplish a range of functions as you support AUTEC. As a member of the team you will:

  • Support off-hours (nights and weekends) maintenance and repair of residential networks and wifi.
  • Maintain and support the use of the network system.
  • Repairs hardware and supports software and peripheral equipment.
  • Helps to monitor network performance to maintain high quality transmission service on the network.
  • Maintains, create/deletes user accounts, maintains and updates system security plans on all platforms.
  • Supports security procedures.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must currently work on existing AUTEC contract in order to be eligible for this position.
  • Must be a U.S citizen.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S government security clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years of professional experience in computer design, software development or computer networks.
  • Must be willining to work nights and weekends.
  • Valid passport and Driver’s licensed required.
  • Must be able to reside in remote location with limited medical facilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Secret security clearance preferred.
  • DoD baseline network certifications: Security +, Network +, or CCNA preferred.
