US SOTYKTU - Dermatology, Director of HCP Marketing
A strong marketer and leader with a proven track record of strategic thinking and customer focus to lead Healthcare Professional (HCP) Marketing for SOTYKTU in psoriasis (PsO). SOTYKTU is a flagship brand for BMS and has the potential to be a blockbuster within the category, as a first-in-class, selective TYK2 inhibitor and is a leading asset for BMS’ Immunology and Fibrosis portfolio.
The Dermatology Director of HCP Marketing will drive in-line marketing and promotional strategy for healthcare practitioners, lead key commercial projects from strategy through execution and collaborate with cross-functional leaders across Sales, Training, Medical, Value & Access, Business Insights & Analytics, Digital Hub and Customer Engagement Center to ensure robust strategic planning and strong execution to drive continued success of the SOTYKTU launch. This individual will have a team of direct reports to develop and provide guidance and will play an integral role in the identification and hiring of key talent across the US marketing team. We are looking for a dynamic, performance-driven leader who cultivates a team-based, collaborative, customer/externally focused environment which promotes candor, innovation and appropriate risk taking.
Key Responsibilities:
Building and delivering the SOTYKTU HCP marketing plan in Psoriasis that sustains the launch success and drives continued growth in a hyper-competitive category
Provide commercial input on cross-matrix activities, ensuring consistent, on-strategy execution to launch priorities within each function. This individual will guide key matrix teams across Digital Hub, Customer Engagement Center, Access & Reimbursement, Medical and Sales/Sales Training
Build BMS Dermatology leadership through the development of customer-focused, differentiated commercial activities which clearly conveys the brand’s value
Foster strong collaborative working relationships with external and internal customers
Collaborate with Market Research to identify and leverage deep, actionable customer insights
Partner with Customer Engagement Center to optimize Marketing Mix & Channel Selection
Effectively analyze customer insights, brand performance, market trends, & competitive response to inform strategic plans and brand execution to addresse key challenges and capitalize on prioritized business opportunities
Develop and grow direct reports and model the BMS Talent Philosophy
Effectively partner with HCP AOR and provide clear expectations, guidance and feedback to agency, ensuring rigor in marketing excellence to ensure strong agency support, collaboration and exceptional execution of key tactics and deliverables
Qualifications and Experience:
BS/BA degree required. MBA preferred
Minimum of 6-8 years of pharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 4 years of marketing experience
Launch experience from a previous HCP marketing role(s) is preferred
Understanding of the dermatology marketplace is recommended but not required; Relevant Immunology experience is a plus
Proven track record of leading and being the champion of commercial strategy
Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and connect interrelated activities across the matrix to deliver impactful results. The ability to identify commercial gaps and engage necessary stakeholders to assess strategic value will be critical for the successful candidate to demonstrate.
Ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships
Highly skilled in translating insights into sound marketing actions and business recommendations
Strong ability to effectively drive performance within a matrix organization with exceptional organizational, interpersonal communication skills and executive collaboration required
