"**Director, Activation Sales - Major Accounts****Preferred Qualifications****Director, Activation Sales (Major Accounts)**As a Director of Sales on the Activation Major Accounts team, youll lead a team of Client Partners responsible for maximizing the audience and context potential for some of our most strategic clients at Oracle Data Cloud. The Major Accounts team works with our largest global brands that buy our solutions for audience, contextual targeting and brand safety.We are seeking an experienced Sales leader who can drive results in several ways: as a driver for senior level advertiser engagement across Major Accounts, as a coach who helps their team maximize effectiveness in the market, and as an internal leader on key revenue driving and team culture initiatives. Our Activation team is built on a data driven, collaborative, hardworking and fun culture that is integral to our success and were looking for candidates who will help lead, build and deepen this culture.The ideal candidate will have deep sales and digital marketing experience with agencies, clients, ad tech platforms and media partners. The right candidate will be motivated by building new relationships, identifying and clearing hurdles to growth, collaborating with other sales teams and building solutions and partnerships that more effectively meet our clients needs.**Key responsibilities include:**+ Lead a team of 4-5 experienced Client Partners in a client-centric approach to maximizing opportunity across a set of our largest customers. Coach team on sales skills, revenue growth strategies, forecasting capabilities and collaboration opportunities.+ Work in close partnership with our Account Management team to maximize the collaboration and efficiency between these two working groups ensuring we have the appropriate plans, partnerships, clarity and execution to succeed.+ Serve as a senior level contact and thought leader across these accounts, maximizing advertiser and agency engagement and helping your team open new doors within their book of business.+ Serve as an internal champion and bridge-builder for the needs of Major Accounts clients working across other product sales teams, across functions and within other key Oracle business units to drive customer-centered internal collaboration.+ Identify, plan, execute and track success of key revenue driving initiatives. Build detailed project plans including training, communication, tracking strategies and success metrics to evangelize to the broader team.+ Act as a strategic leader across the Activation team uncovering improvement areas for our teams process, sales strategy, culture, and overall impact on the ODC team.**Skills and Qualifications:**+ Extensive sales experience, including with large accounts - calling on client, agency, ad tech or media partners driving revenue growth and successful outcomes for their marketing programs. Experience in CPG, Auto, Tech/Telco and Retail is a plus.+ Specific experience with digital media, including 3 rd Party and contextual/brand safety data is strongly preferred.+ Ability to prioritize is key focusing on products, relationships and work that most directly foster growth, while deprioritizing less urgent or relevant opportunities+ Must be very outgoing and persistent with the drive, research skills and influencer identification abilities to help your team establish new client/agency relationships. Ideal candidate will instill a hunting mindset in their team members, ensuring team members remain motivated and accountable to creating breakthroughs with the client and their key agency teams.+ Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills in order to manage, prioritize and delegate many internal and external initiatives.+ The ability to embrace a data-driven approach is essential to success. Willingness to coach team on tracking and optimizing activity via CRM system is key.+ Strong interpersonal skills, positivity and the ability to embrace change effectively are critical to success.+ Ability to build trusting and collaborative partnerships within ODC is critical to success. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important. Ability to hire and train new Alliance Consultants. Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity.
