"**ACH Specialist****Preferred Qualifications****Role**This role will report directly to the and is responsible for customer transaction processing. This positions hour will be from with some holiday coverage necessary. This is a great opportunity for candidates with some retail banking experience with a growing team here at Oracle. Local candidates only. There will be no telecommuting.**Responsibilities**+ Process daily ACH and EFT transactions on behalf of customers of the company+ Maintain detailed records of transactions processed+ Participate in the ongoing development of an automated system for transaction processing+ Work in collaboration with other departments to resolve customer payment, reconciliation and technical issues+ Prepare and maintain proper procedural documentation for operating and compliance purposes+ Accept other duties as assigned**Desired Experience**+ Bachelors degree preferred+ 1 2 years of experience+ Understanding of ACH and ACH processing preferred, but not required+ 1 to 2 years of cash handling and/or previous banking experience+ Works well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment+ Extremely comfortable working with computers and a variety of applications+ Flexible and adaptable attitude toward work schedule (some holiday coverage required)+ Personal Traits:+ Dependability is a must. May require some overtime in order to make sure the customers needs are met.+ Exceptional listening and communication skills - detailed, organized and process-oriented.+ Flexibility must be able to multi-task, efficiently switch gears, and prioritize. This person much be able to spot errors and pay close attention to the procedures outlined.**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Maintain general accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure that proper information is reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Assists in accounting functions which may include general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inter-company transactions. Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, analysis, reconciliation and reporting. Maintain and implement general accounting systems. Conduct account reconciliation periodically, ledger close activities, and provide accurate financial data to support management in decision making. Develop and prepare financial reports including profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements. Review and analyze inter-company transactions. Ensure all journal entries comply with internal and external audit specifications. Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of internal procedures and processes. May participate in special projects.Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Strong analytical, prioritization and communication skills in partnering with other internal groups and management. Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets is essential. Typically graduate or equivalent with 0 - 2 year experience.
