The Leidos Army Intelligence information technology Environment Support (ARIES) program, which is part of the Leidos Defense group, is looking for a IT Site Lead to support US Army Central G2. The ARIES G2 Army MI Enterprise provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems as well as network administration support for an organization comprised mostly of a Microsoft Enterprise software environment residing on multiple networks.
Primary Responsibilities
In this role, the IT Lead will lead a dynamic team of IT professionals in support of US government, military, and coalition customers throughout Kuwait and surrounding countries to serve as the primary interface between the Leidos team and multiple government customers.
Manage day‐to‐day IT operations, including service desk, desktop, server, storage, and network administration, VTC operations, hardware support, etc; may include advising and/or assisting with facility design or re-design, floor plan layouts, security improvement projects, power and cooling, etc
Assist & mentor team members with technical troubleshooting
Serve as primary IT advisor to the G2 Forward and CJ2 Systems officers, and if required lead IT projects in the organization; track and regularly report project status to both government and company/contract leadership
Create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage constraints of cost, time, scope, and quality
Develop the overall project plan and manage project operations
Manage the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflicts
Plan, execute, and close projects that meet or exceed customer objectives
Utilize SharePoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint daily to draft, staff, and publish verbal, visual, and written updates on all facets of the program, projects, and contract deliverables
Implement, document, maintain, and supervise ITIL processes in support of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures, with a focus on service desk operations
Coordinate with host‐nation sponsors, garrison organizations, and corporate entities to provide country access (Kuwaiti work visas), off-post life support (housing, vehicles), and base access for all personnel
Ensure all team members are aware of and follow appropriate host-nation laws, government regulations, and corporate policies.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
At least three (3) years of demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms such as Earned Value Management and at least five (5) years direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environment.
Required Technical Certification: 8140 IAT II IA Baseline Certification, such as Security+|ce or higher
Must have one of the following certifications: PMP, DAWIA PM III or FAC-P/PM Mid-Level in Program Management
Active TS SCI security clearance
Ability to complete the CRC requirement
Valid and active US passport
