Junior Web / SharePoint Developer
Amentum is actively seeking a Junior Web / SharePoint Developer to provide development and maintenance of multiple SharePoint sites. The position will be located at Fort Meade, MD supporting the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance platforms.
We are pipelining candidates for a future role.
You are highly skilled in Web development and/or developing components within SharePoint, and have a desire to design custom content for SharePoint sites. You are imaginative, resourceful, and interested in using your skills in Web development and design to support our mission. You’re also self-reliant and enjoy learning on the job from others, and can be flexible in the design elements you choose to suit multiple generations of workers.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, implement, and deploy SharePoint custom solutions to support business processes using SharePoint 2013 out-of-the-box capabilities and SharePoint Designer 2013.
Design and develop custom content types to support, enhance, and facilitate business processes and related data.
Design and develop custom dashboards using out-of-the-box capabilities and SharePoint Designer.
Design and develop custom calculations to enhance business and process related metrics.
Design and develop custom workflows using out-of-the-box capabilities and SharePoint Designer to enhance, support, and facilitate business process related data.
Develop custom Data View Web Parts using SharePoint Designer and provide support for deployed custom SharePoint solutions and workflows in both SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2010.
Understand and manipulate basic JavaScript and CSS to enhance SharePoint functionality when out-of-the-box solutions are not available.
Design and develop unique SharePoint pages and master pages to customize the look and feel of the site collections.

Minimum Requirements:
-
Associates Degree, and at least 4 years of overall work experience, with 2 years of experience required in Web / SharePoint development
Or a High school diploma/GED, and at least 8 years of overall work experience, with 6 years of experience required in Web / SharePoint development
At least 2 years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or similar languages, and a willingness to work with this tech stack
Familiarity with Bootstrap 3.3.6+ and Jquery 3.6+
Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph. Poly must be granted in order to start.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with SharePoint 2016, WordPress, and SiteWorks
At least 2 years of experience with designing and implementing custom business solutions using SharePoint 2013, Out-of-the-Box capabilities, configuring SharePoint sites, sub-sites, and user permissions, and managing SharePoint collections
Experience with supporting an enterprise-wide instantiation of SharePoint 2013
Experience with implementing permissions in SharePoint in a site collection and with business solution designs
