Job Summary:

Tundra Federal is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to Lead the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, work with the internal program team, and Air Force to create RMF artifacts for submission in eMASS, and support the implementation of cybersecurity plans and policies for an Air Force IT program.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all cybersecurity and RMF tasks for the program.
  • Creates required RMF artifacts from scratch for new systems, including the Vulnerability Management and Incident Response Plans.
  • Identifies applicable STIGs and oversees STIG compliance.
  • Leads the implementation of strategic, technical, and operational cybersecurity controls.
  • Acts as the escalation point of contact for the Air Force customer.
  • Develops POA&Ms with the Engineering and OEM vendor teams.
  • Reports status and updates to internal and external management.
  • Provides cybersecurity recommendations and feedback to ensure compliance with RMF and Air Force policies.
  • Supervises RMF resources.
  • Provides tasks to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and weekly performance updates.
  • Create and update CDRLs.
  • Manage budgets and labor charging and provide monthly financial forecasts.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience leading compliance activities, security patching, compiling RMF documentation, achieving ATOs of a year or longer in duration, specifically Continuous ATO (cATO), and developing and maintaining POA&Ms.
  • IAT III 8570 compliant (certifications include: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH and CCSP).
  • Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level II or above.
  • Proficiency with DoD cybersecurity and RMF tools (eMASS, ACAS, ESS, etc.).
  • Experience working on NIPR and SIPR.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Travel up to 25%.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Cybersecurity related network or Cloud technology certifications.
  • Experience with Zero Trust, ICAM (Identity, Credential and Access Management) and other Cybersecurity technical advances.
  • Experience with Cybersecurity in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, etc.).
